From humble beginnings at Lincoln North Star High School (2016–2020) to the collegiate stage, Jared’s journey has been one marked by dedication both on the hardwood and in the classroom.
After graduating from Lincoln North Star, Jared began his collegiate career at Northeast Community College, where his impact was immediate. Over the course of three seasons (2020–2023), he became one of the most dependable and respected players in the program. As a two-time Team Captain (2021–2023), Jared led by example—balancing performance, leadership, and academics. His strong freshman campaign earned him Honorable Mention All-Region (2020–21) honors, setting the tone for what would become a standout tenure.
Across his time at Northeast, Jared appeared in nearly every game, establishing himself as a true two-way player capable of contributing in multiple areas of the game. His college career would ultimately span 128 games, producing 1,285 career points (10 ppg) and 603 rebounds (4.7 rpg). Jared’s success extended beyond the court. He was recognized as a 5x Academic All-Region Student-Athlete and earned Second Team NJCAA All-Academic honors for maintaining high academic standards throughout his career. Following his success at Northeast, Jared transferred to Mount Marty University (2023–2025) to continue his education and basketball career at the four-year level. Once again, his leadership and presence were recognized immediately—earning him the title of Team Captain for the 2024–25 season. In addition to his contributions on the floor, Jared has excelled academically, earning Dean’s List honors with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.9, showcasing his continued commitment to excellence in every aspect of student-athlete life.
